Last week, I talked about mixing and matching fabrics to create one-of-a-kind rooms. This week, I want to share a fabulous resource with you: Spoonflower.
Spoonflower is a website where you can buy fabric. They have thousands of prints to choose from in all colors. That is just the beginning though! The best part of Spoonflower is that if you cannot find exactly what you are looking for from their inventory, you can create your own fabric and have them print it for you!
A wise old bookend by Addilou
Their prices start at just $18 / yard, and they have 9 different fabric types to choose from.

Spoonflower has a wide variety of colors and patterns ~ from toile:

to chevron:

to elephants:

Spoonflower is based in Raleigh, NC and all of the fabric is digitally printed in Raleigh by their employees.
The digital printing method they use to print the fabrics is eco-friendly and uses water-based inks on natural fiber textiles.

I recently ordered a swatch of this blue and white fabric to see if it would coordinate with our peacock blue dining room make-over.
Moorish tile – peacock by Honey&fitz
I was hoping to use it in the family room as pillows to pull the peacock blue into that room. The blue, though, is more turquoise than peacock, so I’m going to keep looking.
Here are a few other fabrics I saw while exploring their website.

They even have patterns that you can order and sew yourself.

I’m excited to have found Spoonflower and have enjoyed looking at all of their fun fabrics. Who knows, maybe I’ll even submit my own design!
On a side note, we’ve begun to paint our family room and dining room. Here are the colors we chose:
Benjamin Moore: Berber White 955, Blue Allure 771, I’ve Got the Blues 774, & Bermuda Blue 2061-30
We also ordered our stencil for the dining room. Here are the 2 we were deciding between:
We chose………………………………………………………………. #1!
I’ll share more photos and updates as we make progress.
º Are you freshening any rooms in your house with a new paint color?
Glad you chose #1, I like that one the best. Can’t wait to see how it turns out!
